Reddit loves Dying Light, but honestly i liked Dead Island a lot more just because Act 1 and 2 were visually really amazing and the combat, crafting and skills felt much much better than Dying Light which was really bland with constantly breaking weapon and scaling enemies, also everyone had the same skills with no uniqueness or difference

Host’s level. But did run into some skull zombies near Anna’s place when coop with a low level friend. Skulls are scripted to prevent you from progressing far. they can be killed but are always a pain. later they get debuffed to normal as you progress, atleast thats what i heard. Major Lag/Desync in co-op. Tried playing today with 2 other friends. Major game breaking desync and rubber banding no matter who hosted. We all live 10 minutes away from each other, so ping never is an issue for us. Is anyone else experiencing game breaking lag? I've tried so many things to get coop to work on the definitive edition, here is a list. 1.) Transferred the game to my internal 2.) Deleted and redownloaded the game 3.) Reset my Xbox 4.) Started new saves at the same time as my coop partner 5.) Checked NAT type and ensured it was open. Is there anything I've missed that would make the game
I haven't bought the game yet, I intend to play it even if it is strictly one Co-op but LAN works better for me. Does Dead Island 2 have LAN Support for playing with ethernet cable instead of Internet? I know Dead Island 1/Riptide has this possibility.

I love dead island, and I want to play with friends, but can't because they don't have the game. I'm not asking for a group, but I'm just venting, because it's on sale for 6$ on the Xbox One Store for the next few days. Summary: I like the game but nobody I know owns the game. PS: DM if you want to have a Co-Op group on Xbox One.
It might just be scaling for the host, and nerfing co-op partners that are above that hosts level. I just fear that with basic difficulty, the game will become trivial when played in coop, or to not have enough zombies for each of us and have fun. Don't worry about that at all.
It's not. It's cross gen, not cross platform. It'd it cross-gen? I got a lvl 30 god build jacob im on xbox but if its cross gen im keen my gamertag is Bxbsyanxnna. It IS cross-GEN (old gen and new gen), but NOT cross-PLATFORM (Xbox and playstation). Xbox and playstation can not play together.

So far me and my friends have only been able to get 2 players using hamachi. The 3rd and 4th players still can't connect.
