I was reading though, on the Taleworlds forum, about how companion info is stored. I feel like I'm close to figuring this out, but I need a hand from anyone' more savvy with way Mount and Blade works. The basic premise mentioned is to change each companion in Troops.txt to have their dislike be some neutral NPC instead of another companion.

You make your companions Captains by assigning them to the group you want them to buff. For example you'll note you press the number two when you want archers. Archers are in group 2. Set your most archery-est companion into group two (under party) and their captain buffs will buff that group. Same goes for cavalry, horse archers, etc.
