Need help to reset adblue warning 2013 Passat. Today the warning to refill the adblue tank popped up. I put 2.5 gal into the tank and tried to get the warning to go away. I tried turning on the car but not the engine and putting the gas pedal to the floor to have the glow plug light pop up but it never did show.
This isn't normal. I had mine replaced late last year. Be sure to have the dealer replace the injector. Mine replaced the feed line first because his TSB mentioned that even though the leak was clearly coming from the injector

So I'm at the 250 mile warning. Was hoping the adblue issue would rectify itself but it 'aint happening so I'm gonna have to drop some out of the tank to see if that resets it. I see @lucky13 managed to do this by getting underneath and removing a pipe with a quick release connector to drain it

I filled 2 gallons of adBlue. Drove the car 20 miles. Warning stayed on. Filled another 2 gallons. Didn't drive. Warning stayed on. Turned the key until key warning came on, then turned off. Still adBlue warning. Mechanic's Assistant: Is the VW in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your VW has a "wheel lock" feature? In Park. I don't know Ok so the only way to reset the adblue is to take it to a mechanic or the dealer to have it reset to 0. It's the only way it can be done. I have encountered this issue many times with audi vw mercedes diesel vehicles. It's a normal procedure.

I took the car out for a drive and within 15km, I got a warning on the dash that I had 350kms to fill the adblue tank before not being able to start the motor. I promptly took it to VW and had them top off the tank. I did a scan of the adblue blocks and after the fill, this was the measurement Thursday,07,April,2016,18:07:40:44697

The local VW dealer wanted to drop the Adblue tank and remove the level sensor, pump, etc. rather than just getting the dealers to do a reset each time it happens. so the warning light 9wUMn.
